The following presenters have confirmed their participation in the Prevention in Progress Family Violence Prevention Summit:

Marilyn Tomasi’s professional career includes twentyyears in marketing, strategic planning, communications, public affairs and brand development, including eight years as the State of Ohio’s tourism architect of the nationally-acclaimed, “Ohio…the heart of it all!” campaign; fourteen years as an entrepreneur & CEO of strategic marketing communications firms; three years as Bureau Chief & CEO of the Columbus/Franklin County News Bureau working with state, regional and national media; and (8) years with the Lucas County Probation Department and Lucas County Corrections Center, as a Social Worker, dealing primarily with felony, adult offenders.

Tomasi has received widespread recognition for her work, including by both the Ohio House and Senate, was selected as the State Travel Director of the Year by her peer directors across the country and has provided commentary on NBC’s Today Show. She has served on numerous boards, including St. Vincent Family Centers, Lifeline of Ohio, & The Columbus Metropolitan Club. Tomasi currently operates a small strategic planning & marketing firm, working primarily with Mid-Ohio Foodbank.
