Innovative Practices and People with Disabilities

Participants in this workshop will learn about some of the innovative practices that include opportunities for prevention of violence in the lives of people with disabilities. Some programs will be highlighted including SafePlace Disability Services ASAP (A Safety Awareness Program). Participants will have an opportunity to brainstorm about best practices steps related to violence prevention to be taken individually and within their own organizations as they relate to advocating and working with people with disabilities.
